
Biography - Paige
Paige began training for gymnastics at the age of 7 and competed in her first competition at age 8.
After training for 2 years, at the age of 11, she began competing at level 5.
In December of 2005, she became the level 5 North Carolina State Champion, after winning 1st place on vault, bars and floor, and won 3rd place on beam.
Paige tested out of Level 6 early 2006 and then began training for Level 7. She competed in March, 2007 at state and won 5th place overall for 13 year old Level 7’s. She is currently training for Level 8 at the age of 13, and will begin her competitions in 2008.
Paige spends about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week at the gym working hard fine tuning her gymnastic skills. This hard work and dedication has really paid off for this young athlete. She serves as a terrific role model for other young girls and gymnasts throughout the community.
Currently residing in Cary, NC with her parents and older brother, Paige attends a local Middle School, with plans to continue to compete at her private club, Superior Gymnastics located in Morrisville. She aspires to join the Green Hope High School gymnastics team in the 2008/2009 school year.
